2025 QMB–Maurice Wilkins Centre Biology Teacher Scholarship
Queenstown Research Week and the Maurice Wilkins Centre are excited to offer three scholarships to attend the Queenstown Plenary Lecture and Queenstown Molecular Biology Meeting (QMB) in Christchurch (3 – 5 September).
The 2025 Queenstown Plenary Lectures will be given by Professor Tak W. Mak, University of Toronto. Professor Mak is a world leader in the genetics of immunology and cancer.
This year’s QMB sessions include molecular biology research in space, molecular physiology across systems, commercialisation in life sciences, technology and molecular medicine, molecular ecology and evolution, and cellular biology: mechanisms and models.
Scholarships cover travel, accommodation, registration, and conference dinner. Scholarships will not cover school release costs.
Applicants should send a cover letter (max 250 words), a one-page CV, and the contact details of one referee to the Maurice Wilkins Centre (maurice-wilkins-centre@auckland.ac.nz).
